FUNKSHY + PORTACLE + DIVA
Superhoot presents a night of powerful, soulful grooves down at the Hoot! Comprised of some of the finest groove musicians London has to offer.
Fresh and laid back FUNKSHY will be bringing their undeniable energy to Brixton. Funkshy is a 6 piece band, fronted by two vocalists and comprised of some of London’s finest groove musicians. Bandleader Tansay Omar is a professional drummer who has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Björk, Boy George, Roots Manuva and the list goes on… and his wide range of influences emerges in the music he plays and produces.
They’ll be joined by alternative London jazz-rockers PORTACLE. With influences from Miles Davis to Snarky Puppy we’re expecting big things from these London alternative jazz-rockers.
And on the decks DIVA bringing her superlative blend of House, Funk, Afrobeats and party tunes all the way. What better way to kick off 2019 than with some musical rejuvenation for the soul?
